The company Kooky Art Pte Ltd was established in May 2005. Its founder, Isabella Lim, was always fascinated by beautifully decorated cakes and cookies and had tried her hand at it as a hobby. However, all the techniques that she came across were not suitable for kids.
With two young children of her own, she wanted very much to involve her kids. Hence she started researching and testing out techniques that would allow children to engage in food decorating art. With that achieved, Kooky Art Pte. Ltd. was born.
While the focus of Kooky Art® is on children, due to its multiple applications and benefits, adults can also participate. So apart from parties, classes and workshops for children, Kooky Art® also conducts corporate team building activities.

The aim of Kooky ArtŪ is to bring out the child's creativity through art. As food transcends cultural and social barriers, we use children's favourite foods like cookies and cakes as our main media to bring out these creative talents.
As a creative activity, Kooky ArtŪ's decorating art provides the avenue for the child to express himself or herself through the final stages of baking that is often overlooked. And the innocence in that self-expression is something to be treasured.
As Isabella puts it, "Children have an innocence which we should preserve for as long as we can. Through Kooky ArtŪ, we get a glimpse of that innocence. Simple yet fun, all children get an opportunity to express themselves - all they need are the right tools and guidance under an experienced facilitator who can connect with them. And the best part of it all, they get to eat them!"
Apart from the creative benefits, engaging in Kooky ArtŪ's decorating art activity help develop a child's confidence, individuality and self-esteem.
Oh, and the most important reason for Kooky ArtŪ? It's fun, fun, fun! Wacky, kooky FUN!
